About the Role

As an Engineering Manager at Froda, you will lead 2–3 cross-functional product teams and ensure we deliver value clearly, predictably, and with high quality. Working closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads, you will create focus, remove obstacles, and build strong teams that can move fast while maintaining a healthy and reliable platform, working iteratively to ship, learn, and continuously improve our products and systems.

Through close collaboration with your teams, you will help shape the technical direction of the areas you lead, connecting business needs with sustainable engineering decisions and ensuring we continuously improve how we build, ship, and learn from what we deliver.

In this role, you will:

• Drive delivery across multiple teams by improving how teams plan, execute, and follow up on their work, ensuring priorities and commitments are realistic and aligned with business goals while supporting iterative delivery and continuous learning

• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and capacity challenges early

• Support a healthy balance between product delivery and technical improvements

• Coach and develop engineers while fostering a sustainable and high-performing team environment

• Build strong cross-functional relationships across Product, Tech, Commercial, and Partnerships

You are fluent in English and Swedish.

We believe you have experience with:

• Leading engineering teams in a product-focused tech organization

• Driving delivery, planning, and execution across teams with a focus on predictability and quality

• A solid technical background that allows you to understand architectural trade-offs and engineering challenges

• Coaching and developing engineers through continuous feedback and performance follow-up

• Working closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads to balance scope, risk, and long-term improvements

• Improving development processes, ways of working, and engineering practices

• Navigating cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
