Your Impact

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leading role ensuring that Froda operates at the forefront of legal compliance and strategic risk management. In this role you’ll take ownership of the areas of data privacy and security, IT and AI. Your work will directly influence Froda's ability to expand across European markets while maintaining our commitment to compliance, efficiency, and innovation. You will report to the Head of Legal and form part of Froda’s close-knit legal team.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will change as the business develops, but these are some things we would like you to take lead on:

●  Advise the business on legal matters, mainly in relation to data privacy, DORA, IT and AI regulations but also in relation to general commercial aspects.

●  Work closely with Froda’s product and tech teams to identify and consult on privacy risks and improvements connected to development of new products and processes.

●  Froda’s privacy compliance programme, including updating privacy and cookie policies, instructions, notices and steering documents.

●  Manage negotiations of various commercial agreements.

●  Take a leading role in Froda’s first line operations by implementing and improving processes to ensure Froda’s compliance with regulatory requirements (including DORA, legislation monitoring etc.)

●  Support all Froda’s business units in expanding its product offering across Europe, including supporting market due diligence and proactively ensuring Froda’s product development and offering aligns with evolving regulations.

What You'll Bring

●  Swedish LL.M (Juristexamen) or equivalent Nordic legal education.

●  3+ years of experience from a business law firm or other relevant consultancy firm, similar role within financial services, at a fintech company or relevant authority.

● Experience working with legal matters related to data privacy and security as well as corporate and commercial law.

●  Strong analytical skills, multitasking ability, and fluency in Swedish and English.

●  Entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative mindset, and passion for fintech.
