Your impact
As Platform Lead, you’ll lead and develop Froda’s platform capabilities to enable our engineering teams to move faster, safer, and with confidence.
Your focus is to ensure we have reliable infrastructure, strong security foundations, and a smooth developer experience. In this role, you’ll combine technical leadership with hands-on engineering, contributing directly to platform improvements while guiding the team’s direction and priorities. You’ll help ensure our platform scales with the business while remaining pragmatic and lightweight.
What you’ll do
Provide technical leadership
Define and drive the platform roadmap in collaboration with CTO & VPoE in alignment with company strategy and engineering priorities.

Stay hands-on with the platform
Contribute directly to building and improving our platform infrastructure, tooling, and cloud environments. You’ll stay close to the technical work, designing solutions, reviewing code, and stepping in hands-on when needed to unblock the team, solve complex technical challenges, or move critical platform initiatives forward. Ensuring platform decisions remain grounded in real engineering needs.
Improve reliability and developer experience
Drive improvements in infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and internal tooling. Reduce friction for product teams and increase delivery confidence.
Strengthen security foundations
Ensure strong security foundations across identity and access management, network segmentation, cloud and container security, incident response, and secure development workflows. Partner with relevant stakeholders on security-related initiatives.
Support compliance and governance
Collaborate with leadership and external partners to ensure our platform meets required security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001). Contribute to audits and help embed security into everyday engineering work.
Collaborate across Tech
Work closely with the CTO, VPoE, and engineering teams to balance speed, scalability, and risk. Act as a trusted technical partner in platform-related decisions.
Who you are
You’re a technically strong leader who enjoys enabling others. You balance pragmatism with long-term thinking and believe that great platforms empower teams rather than control them. You enjoy staying close to the technical work and leading by example through hands-on contributions.
You likely have:
Several years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure, including designing or evolving cloud-native platforms
Experience acting as a technical lead or senior engineer guiding other engineers
Experience working in a cloud-native environment
Solid understanding of security fundamentals (IAM, cloud security, incident handling)
Experience contributing to compliance or security reviews (not necessarily owning them end-to-end)
Experience working cross-functionally in a product-led engineering organization
Fluency in Swedish and English
Most importantly, you care about building systems and teams that make engineers more effective and the company more secure.
