About the role
As Froda scales its embedded lending business across Europe, we're looking for a Partner Manager to own and grow a portfolio of strategic partners, neobanks, fintechs, and financial platforms. This isn't a sales role or a support role. You'll be the person who drives performance across live integrations, leads joint planning with sophisticated counterparts, and navigates both internal and external stakeholders to get things done. One day, you're digging into a Jira ticket with the tech team, the next you're presenting a business review to a bank. We're looking for someone that is comfortable with both. You'll work cross-functionally with product, tech, credit, ops, and compliance to deliver on partner commitments, and you'll represent partner needs internally with clarity and conviction.
As Partner Manager, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Own a portfolio of embedded partners, with full responsibility for relationship health, performance, and growth
Define and execute tailored plans per partner: market expansion, deeper product adoption, and new commercial opportunities
Lead go-live and integration projects, ensuring partners are set up for long-term success
Run regular business reviews - turning data into clear, actionable initiatives for both sides
Push initiatives forward cross-functionally, aligning internal teams around partner priorities
Monitor KPIs, flag risks early, and report outcomes to leadership
Help build scalable processes as the partner function grows
What we're looking for
You've worked in a B2B fintech, payments, or SaaS environment, and crucially, in a role that goes beyond sales or support. You've managed the full lifecycle of a partner relationship, including technical integrations. You understand how API-based products work and can hold a credible conversation with both a bank's commercial team and their engineers. You're diplomatically sharp, able to push hard on delivery without damaging the relationship. You're energised by complexity rather than drained by it, and you move forward even when things aren't fully defined.
You have:
3+ years in partner management, account management, or business development in fintech, SaaS, or financial services
Proven ownership of strategic B2B relationships involving technical integrations or embedded products
Experience leading go-live or integration projects. Fintech and banking context is a strong plus
Comfort working with partner metrics (activation, conversion, penetration) and using them to drive decisions, not just report them
Strong stakeholder management, both internally and with sophisticated external partners
Native-level fluency in one or more Nordic languages, plus strong written and spoken English
Meriting:
Experience with embedded finance or platform partnerships
Hands-on experience with API-based products and technical partner teams
Familiarity with tools like Tableau or SQL
Additional European languages, particularly German, Italian, or French
